Sunday, April 17 Dogshill the association, and Folks Ink Addiction invite you to the exhibition by a young German artist, Niclas Winters, who will present for the occasion tattoo shop in Via Amanti 8B, some of his works as well as three limited-edition skateboards he designed specially for the occasion! In this brief statement is said with his own words:
"I am an 18 year-old artist from Frankfurt, Germany with a passion for art. In my work I try to capture the urban lifestyle that inspires me. This is mainly shown through the backgrounds, the urban “walls“, which are put in a variety of situations. To round it off I use figures and creatures to represent atmosphere and thoughts. This ensemble of elements portrays my opinions, the stories I’ve heard or read and more generally, anything that makes me think about or change my point of view.
I have been in Verona for 8 months where I have not only learnt the Italian language but also worked on the pieces that I am exhibiting here today. Takashi Murakami, Greg “Craola“ Simkins and Jeremy Fish are some of the artists who have inspired the work that I am currently doing.
I still have a long road ahead of me but I am proud to have a selection of works that displays some of my thoughts."
